Tyler Thompson's MS research featured by the U.S. Geological Survey's Environmental Health Program7/15/2021 Tyler Thompson's MS thesis research on groundwater discharges as a source of phytoestrogens and other agriculturally derived contaminants to streams has been highlighted by the USGS Environmental Health Program. Tyler's research, published in Science of the Total Environment, found that groundwater discharge is a source of phytoestrogens and herbicides that could result in fish exposure during sensitive life stages.
